Should We Treat Cancer or Prevent Cancer

Cancer is known to be one of the biggest killer diseases all over the world; it is not restricted to any geographical location or any particular age or class of people. It can prevail due to a number of different factors which we practice in our every day lives. Cancer if caught in the early stages of development it can easily be treated and cured depending on the type of cancer and the severity of the case.

The most common types of cancers prevailing around the world are the Lungs, Testicular, breast, prostrate, colon and skin cancers. Cancer is all about the division and development of the cells of the body. If the genes that control the body cells are defective they produce defective development of the cells which can lead to abnormal, cancerous cells.

The most important factors that can be restricted by humans so as to prevent cancer and then avoid the excruciating and impossible treatments are smoking, exposure to toxic elements, radiation and in most cases diet. These things can be self-controlled so as to prevent the on-set of cancer in the first place and avoid the long lasting treatments which are useless in most cases. The prevention can be planned by establishing a proper lifestyle habits. Some factors such as Obesity, malnutrition and laziness can also increase the risk of cancer development in the body.

Other factors such as smoking, taking care of healthy nutrition and exercise, together with the restriction to skin exposure to harmful radiations including the sun by wearing sunglasses, hats, creams and other sensible clothing styles. These are all common advices but are indeed helpful in the prevention of cancers.

In summary it is best to avoid cancers development as much as we can, because still there are certain factors such as the mutation and inherited DNA that are incontrollable and can cause cancer.
